ERRE QUE ERRE DISEÑO
Our project aimed to establish a unifying identity for Spanish design disciplines, promoting them nationally and internationally. We researched the etymology and meaning of 'design', leading us to the Spanish phrase 'Erre que erre', symbolizing persistence and stubbornness, traits resonant with designers and the local society. Central to our brand concept is the double 'r' and its vibrant phonetic sound, a very sound characteristic of Castilian and co-official languages like Catalan, Basque, and Galician. This sound's physical sensation inspired our playful and impactful graphic language, embodying the essence of 'erres' and leaving a lasting impression.
